Shared rides. Brighter days.

Your commute,
better together.

Set your routine once. Comrido finds colleagues on your route, agrees who drives, and plans the way home too — so tomorrow's commute is already sorted tonight.

Film

Comrido in one minute.

The whole loop in a short film: routine, match, ride and the way home. With sound and captions.

How it works

Three steps. One loop.

Comrido is built around a daily loop, not a search box — your routine does the work.

01

Set your routine

Tell us where you work, your usual office days and times, and whether you drive or ride along. Once. A postcode is enough — no exact home address.

02

Meet people on your route

Matches are ranked by route fit, time overlap and detour — not by an opaque score. You see who is a good match and why.

03

Confirm tomorrow, both ways

One tap confirms the outbound ride and the return. If the plan changes, everyone sees what changed — and who is driving.

Teams & web

Works in Teams. And in any browser.

Comrido runs as a web app you can install on your phone, and as a Microsoft Teams app where your company allows it. Same service, same account, no lock-in to either.

01

Alternating drivers

Share the driving fairly. A rotation decides whose turn it is, and the app tells you on the day.

02

A plan for the way home

Every ride has an outbound and a return leg, confirmed separately — so nobody is left guessing at 17:30.

03

Your regular crew

Found people you like riding with? Make them preferred partners, or form a commute group with a day-by-day quick message.

Privacy

We don't need your home address.

Commuting data is personal. Comrido is designed for German privacy expectations and works-council scrutiny from the first line of code.

A neighbourhood map with a soft circle marking an approximate area and a shield with a check mark
  • 01

    Approximate by design

Use just your postcode, a street without house number, or a point on the map. Comrido rejects exact house numbers.

  • 02

    No employer surveillance

Your employer does not get an individual history of who rides with whom. Reporting is aggregate only.

  • 03

    You stay in control

Choose whether colleagues can find you, whether other companies in your business district can match with you, and whether your workplace is shown. Block anyone without giving a reason.

For companies

Start with a few colleagues. Bring IT along when you're ready.

Comrido grows bottom-up: a handful of commuters is enough to begin, and the company side follows when it has proven itself.

Talk to us
Four colleagues chatting in an office car park in the morning, one checking something on a phone
  • Works standalone in the browser — no Teams approval needed to get started.
  • If your IT blocks third-party Teams apps, Comrido respects that and shows a clear "pending IT approval" state instead of working around it.
  • Minimal Microsoft permissions: sign-in and verified work membership, nothing more by default.
  • Employers and municipalities can later fund ride incentives or fallback options for the return trip.
FAQ

Questions, answered.

What does "public beta" mean?

Comrido is working, but young. We're letting people in gradually, features will keep changing, and your feedback directly shapes what we build next.

Does Comrido need my exact home address?

No. A postcode, a street without house number, or an approximate map point is enough. Exact house numbers are rejected on purpose.

Do I need Microsoft Teams?

No. Teams and the web app are equal ways to use the same service. Everything core to the commute works in the browser alone.

What happens to the way home?

Each ride has its own return plan that you confirm separately, so a confirmed morning ride never implies an unsorted evening. Company-funded fallbacks for the return trip are planned, not yet available.

Which languages are supported?

German, English and French.

Who can see my information?

Only people you are matched with see what is needed to share a ride. Your employer sees aggregate figures, not individual commute histories.
